Cabbage Patties

Growing upmy Russian grandmother used to make us something called "Nachinkes". Since her death, I've never been able to find these anywhere, not even a recipe. Well, while waiting for our flight to LA in the business class lounge at the Moscow airport, Darren went to get us some lunch as I fed Jax his....and guess what he found? I couldn't believe my eyes! They called the Nachinke's, "cabbage patties" but there was no denying that they were in fact what I had been longing for since childhood. I stuffed myself on these and Jax loved 'em, too! What a surprise and such a perfect farewell treat from Russia!
