We're leaving in the morning...

Thanks, everyone, for your undying support during these past 2 years. We couldn't have done this without you! We are leaving tomorrow morning for Russia and will be updating our blog daily from there. Please pray for us Sunday night (Monday morning in Russia) for smooth court proceedings. We are a little nervous about it but know that God will be right there beside us, making sure things go o.k. Please also pray for Jaxon, for he is about to go through the shock of his little life! We are hoping that his little system will handle all of the new foods we brought him and that he won't be sick when we go and pick him up. We need God's blessings for our long journey trip home, too. Poor little guy has never even been in a car, let alone an airplane. He should look great riding in his new car seat in the Hummer, though! Hope he doesn't barf in my new car but I'm sure that will happen eventually! God bless all of you....

Here is your prayer by blog. Lord - I want to pray for health over Darren, Shawn and Jaxon - keep them free from illness during this time of transition. Make Jaxon's move from Baby House food to American food easy on him, make he crave it and to want more. Father I keep asking that when Darren and Shawn reunite with Jaxon this weekend it's as if he has always known them to be his parents, he will remember them and cling to them as children do. Lord you can make this change easy for Jaxon, and I ask for this for him. Let him see and feel the Father's love, your love through Darren and Shawn. Open the doors to the Baby House, Father, have them expect Darren and Shawn to be there this weekend, make their hearts soft and open to Darren and Shawn spending as many moments as they can before going to court on Monday. Make this a weekend of wonder for Jaxon, and a weekend where he knows where he belongs. Draw Jaxon to his parents, Lord make him want them as much as they want him. Father also give Darren and Shawn time to explore Jaxon's heritage, lead them in their explorations. Lord, bless this family, fill them with your love, kept them filled with confidence and strength as they go through each day this week. Thanks you for the cross, thank you for the blood of Jesus, thank you for your son. Amen.
Shawn - this one is for you!
Lord - I prayer for guidance for Shawn. Give her insight and knowledge when she is in court on Monday so that all the right things will be said. Give her peace in her heart that she has chosen the right path to become a parent - give her wisdom when she brings Jaxon to the hotel from the baby house, that she will be able to fulfill every need that Jaxon has. Lord, she is Jaxon's mom give her confidence that she will be a great Mom. Remind her Lord, that you have guided each step in her life this last eighteen months and that is has been your will and your control. Father, Shawn needs you know more than before because this is the final step in this adoption, and it is a scary step. All hopes and dreams of being a parent are tied to this moment; reassure Shawn of your continued love for her. Lord remove any obstacles for Shawn in her relationship with Jaxon. I continue to prayer for Jaxon’s health and his parents – Darren and Shawn. Please bless this transition, bring this family together Lord. Bless their time together this weekend Lord. Amen.

Shawn -
This is one of my favorite workship songs, I left it as a message for you:
I Will Trust You
Chris Lizotte
I will love You, and adore You
I will trust You, God
I will sing in times of trouble
I will trust You, God
In my weakness, would You come
Help me stand up, help me run
To the shadow of Your wings
And the comfort that it brings
And I’ll wait, and be still
And I’ll know You are God, You are God…
