More Vinnie...

Vincent Van Gogh, a.k.a., Vinnie!!!

Here's our new boy! He's just a year old, is so darn sweet, loves his brother Jax and is a total blessing! He is such a puppy - I had forgotten what a young Boxer is like. Fun, fun, fun!!! We adopted Vinnie from the Boxer Rescue Los Angeles (BRLA), which is such an incredible organization. They rescue any and all Boxers in need of a home, no matter their age, health or medical needs, even severe. We love everyone there and are so grateful for the people that run BRLA.

Sweet little Vinnie has had some sadness/cruelty in his short little life. Someone didn't love our Vinnie like we do so he was a little timid for the first few days and is still slightly sensitive to any yelling, even in laughter. He's coming around, though and is quickly learning that we are here to stay and would never, ever hurt him for any reason! He's sleeping with Jax, whenever possible and eating like a horse! He's still a bit thin but we're working on fattening him up and he's loving every bite! It's going to be fun keeping you all posted on this special little dog - he so deserves a good home and we feel so blessed that he's come to live with us. Jax loves his new doggy and Vinnie simply adores Jax. From the first moment they met, Vinnie took a vow of love to Jaxon and will drop everything to be with him. When Jax is getting "disciplined", no matter the method, Vinnie always tries to get in between us and lick me to get my attention off of Jax. Poor dog. I give him another week of Jax's antics - he'll be changing his tune soon enough!!! God bless our Vinnie!!!

Where did the summer go?

Wow! That went fast! We had a nice summer here at the Wild house, free from illness or hardships of any kind, other than we miss our Buster, terribly! It's been so quiet in this house without the sound of his little toenails clicking on the wood floor when he'd walk by or his snoring during his long naps. For the longest time, Darren and I kept "seeing" him out of the corner of our eyes....we were so used to him being a part of our daily lives that it's hard living without him. We have his ashes on our mantle and think about him everyday. He is missed beyond words and still loved just as much. I said I could never, ever have another dog after losing my precious baby Buster......however, God softened my heart and led us to a life in need of saving. I'm happy to report that we have a new addition to our family!!!!
