....and mommy's near-anxiety attack! All I can say is, Chuck E. Cheese will be getting our business next year if I have anything to say about it! Whew! Lots of work, money, stress for our Jaxon's big day but well worth it in the end. I have very few pictures to share since I was so busy running around trying to keep everything on schedule and everyone fed and "watered". I had lots of help though, especially from Lise, so when the last folks left around 10:00 P.M., I was still alive (barely!). The party was 12:30 - 2:30 and all the activities had commenced right on time. However, we were all having so much fun and the kids were getting along so great together that we just kept on "partying" and wound up ordering dinner (pizza) for everyone around 6:00. Darren also had to make a "beverage" run since we pretty much finished off all the "liquid" that we had.
I'll be getting some good pics of the birthday boy from the two grandmothers and Auntie Linda. Once I have 'em, I'll post them! It was really a fun, fun day and such a great memory for Jax's first birthday celebration and the Big #2!!! Hooray! Happy
Birthday Sweetie!!!
***Speaking of #2, you all will be in for some really "fun" posts and pics over the next 6 months. The tantrums and "terribles" have begun and man, it's really something. This kid is a crack-up! He thinks he's pretty clever most of the time, which lands him in trouble and when he doesn't get his way, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, look out. One of us will be ready for a padded cell before too long - I sure hope it's me! ;-) I may need to give this blog a PG rating, we'll see.
Stay tuned to As Jax's World Turns - he really is The Young and the Restless, which is crazy because if he knew he only had One Life to Live, he'd watch his attitude with his Bold and Beautiful mommy or he may wind up in General Hospital!!! Just wait until next year when his little brother comes home....it'll be All My Children, then....or maybe All My Children Live in Time-out! That's more like it!!!!! Teeheeheeee......
