Tigger the Terrible

Somebody doesn't like wearing his costume. Wait...no, it's more like somebody doesn't like wearing his costume when his PARENTS want him to wear it. When Jax wants to wear it, like right before bath or bed time, that's a different story! So, I don't have any good pics of him at his party with his costume on but here are a few of him opening presents the next night. Hopefully, I'll have some good ones of him on Halloween.

Jax's Big Birthday Party...

....and mommy's near-anxiety attack! All I can say is, Chuck E. Cheese will be getting our business next year if I have anything to say about it! Whew! Lots of work, money, stress for our Jaxon's big day but well worth it in the end. I have very few pictures to share since I was so busy running around trying to keep everything on schedule and everyone fed and "watered". I had lots of help though, especially from Lise, so when the last folks left around 10:00 P.M., I was still alive (barely!). The party was 12:30 - 2:30 and all the activities had commenced right on time. However, we were all having so much fun and the kids were getting along so great together that we just kept on "partying" and wound up ordering dinner (pizza) for everyone around 6:00. Darren also had to make a "beverage" run since we pretty much finished off all the "liquid" that we had.

I'll be getting some good pics of the birthday boy from the two grandmothers and Auntie Linda. Once I have 'em, I'll post them! It was really a fun, fun day and such a great memory for Jax's first birthday celebration and the Big #2!!! Hooray! Happy
Birthday Sweetie!!!

***Speaking of #2, you all will be in for some really "fun" posts and pics over the next 6 months. The tantrums and "terribles" have begun and man, it's really something. This kid is a crack-up! He thinks he's pretty clever most of the time, which lands him in trouble and when he doesn't get his way, and I mean IMMEDIATELY, look out. One of us will be ready for a padded cell before too long - I sure hope it's me! ;-) I may need to give this blog a PG rating, we'll see.

Stay tuned to As Jax's World Turns - he really is The Young and the Restless, which is crazy because if he knew he only had One Life to Live, he'd watch his attitude with his Bold and Beautiful mommy or he may wind up in General Hospital!!! Just wait until next year when his little brother comes home....it'll be All My Children, then....or maybe All My Children Live in Time-out! That's more like it!!!!! Teeheeheeee......

More Haunted Mansion...

Jax's Spooky House

We bought this inflatable (not a jumper) for Jax's birthday party and boy, was it a hit! It was so much fun for the kids to run thru, especially at night! The lights were amazing and the motion-activated sound effects were spooky! Jax absolutely loves this thing - we kept it up for a few days and will put it back up for Halloween so he can enjoy it one last time before it goes away until next Halloween. Definitely worth the money when you see him having so much fun in it!

Mom's Personal Shopper

He's fired! This is what he does to my groceries in the cart when I'm not looking! No wonder Jax loves to go shopping with me - he likes to sample everything in the cart!!! Here's a poor block of cheese that had no chance....

Bad Hair Day!

Here's Darren, wearing his friend's "wig" hat and Jax, who just woke up from a nap, sporting bed-head! I swear, if you didn't know Darren, you'd believe this was his real hair and that he was the ultimate beach bum!!!

Birthday Hug from Buster

My big brother wished me a happy birthday, then slimed me (as usual). I don't care though - I love to hug Buster and he gave me an extra special one for my special day!!!!

Birthday Boy

How old are you today?

Apparently, 5 fingers means '2'....we're working on that!

Birthday Crown on a Russian Prince!

Off to school and my birthday party!

Happy Birthday, Jaxon!

Wow! Somebody turned 2 years old today - Hooray! He had a wonderful day at school - they celebrated with mini-muffins (banana nut....no cake, cupcakes, etc. at this school! No sugary stuff, period!), singing and making Jax's new birthday crown. He had a ball! Can't believe our little baby is now such a big boy! They grow so fast and change right before your very eyes. We are so blessed to have such a special boy in our lives. Happy Birthday Jax - you're the best!!!!!
